Do They Migrate?

Catbirds are predominantly migratory throughout their range.

What Foods Do They Eat?

Bark Butter®, fruit, meal worms and bugs like: ants, beetles, grasshoppers, midges, and caterpillars

Where Do They Nest?

Nests in bush or tree. Will not use a nest box. Both sexes help build the nest but construction is mainly by the female over five to six days.

What Do They Look Like?

Male and female have the same plumage. No seasonal plumage changes. Juvenile plumage similar to adults.
