Now every tree can be a birdfeeder. No other food attracts more birds than
Jim's Birdacious Bark Butter.
Wild Birds Unlimited is dedicated to offering fresh, top-quality seed—the best in the market. Our no-waste bird seed blends are made from 100% edible seed and have been exclusively formulated for the feeding preferences of your local birds. No cereal fillers—just fresh, high-quality seed your birds will love.
We also carry a wide variety of other bird foods—suet and no-melt doughs, seed cylinders and more—featuring different exclusive flavors.
Our Supreme Blend features black oil sunflower, striped sunflower, safflower and sunflower chips in a combination that helps attract a wide variety of birds, such as chickadees, nuthatches, titmice and wrens. Try feeding Supreme Blend in your hopper feeders and tube feeders.
Perfect in our Classic hopper feeder, this blend is full of black oil sunflower seeds, millet, striped sunflower and safflower and will satisfy a bevy of birds in your backyard. Oil sunflower and safflower lovers will enjoy this blend at the feeder, and juncos, doves and towhees will feast on the white millet on the ground.
Our Choice Blend is a combination of black oil sunflower, sunflower chips, striped sunflower, safflower and peanuts that attracts a variety of birds including chickadees, woodpeckers, titmice, nuthatches and jays. Try this remarkable blend in a hopper feeder, tube feeder or our Dinner Bell feeder.
Our unique No-Mess Blend features seeds that have had their shells removed so only the meat of the seed is left. Hulled seeds make for tidier feeding since there’s no debris on the ground to clean up. No-Mess Blend offers the best value because you do not pay for uneaten seed waste.
|Premium Black Oil Sunflower
A favorite of almost all seed-eating birds, our Premium Oil Sunflower is a great source of energy and 99% free of sticks, stems or other foreign matter so your feeders won’t clog with debris. Oil sunflower has a high calorie per ounce ratio due to its high fat and protein content and its relatively thin shell.
Many of your favorite birds will enjoy safflower, yet blackbirds, grackles and squirrels typically don’t. Offer safflower in hopper, platform or tube feeders. It is especially appropriate for window or deck feeders where blackbirds or squirrels may be a problem.
Nyjer attracts finches of all kinds. Its high oil content is an excellent energy source for active birds and is best used in our specially designed finch feeders. Nyjer has a thin shell and is vulnerable to spoilage while in the tube. Replace Nyjer seed in feeders every 3 to 4 weeks if it is not being actively eaten.
No shells means no mess under your feeder. Hulled sunflower seeds have a high oil content and provide birds with an extra kick of energy. It’s an ideal seed to offer in a WBU tube feeder near patios, sidewalks or balconies.
|Shelled Peanuts and Peanuts in the Shell
Peanuts are a great addition to the choices you offer your backyard birds. Peanuts are a high-energy food that is enjoyed by a variety of birds.
Birds such as woodpeckers, titmice, nuthatches, chickadees and jays will frequent peanut feeders. Many of their visits will be to carry peanuts off and cache them for a later meal.
Peanuts in the shell are typically used for feeding larger billed birds such as jays. Titmice enjoy them as well. You can also offer peanuts in the shell to your squirrels.
We offer a variety of feeders for shelled peanuts and peanuts in the shell.
These tasty tidbits are small nuggets of suet that are perfect for a wide variety of feeders. They are an excellent source of energy for birds and should be offered throughout the year. Many birds, including bluebirds, titmice, nuthatches, chickadees, woodpeckers and jays enjoy our Suet Snacks.
Suet and No-melt Dough
Our Naturally Nuts Suet and No-melt Dough are loaded with lots of yummy nuts. Birds such as woodpeckers, chickadees and nuthatches love to eat it.
|Peanut Butter ‘n Jelly®
Suet and No-melt Dough
These mimic the old childhood favorite, but without the sticky aftereffects. The peanut butter appeals to birds that like insects and nuts, while the “jelly” (blueberries) attracts fruit-eating birds. Our No-melt Dough is designed to withstand temperatures up to 130° F.
Seed Cylinders are an easy way to offer your birds a wide variety of food. They’re convenient, too. Just set one out and watch. Try offering a Seed Cylinder on our Seed Cylinder Feeder or Dinner Bell feeder.
